Computer Training

Keeping apprised of the newest computer technology is important for us to best serve your computer needs. We also believe that education of your computer system is your strongest tool to avoid future computer problems. We offer one-on-one training for technology, software, networking or any other topic that you might need. Please call for more information and to make an appointment.

Consultation

Consultations are a very important part of computer service for you, the customer, as well as us, the consultant. In talking with you about your computer needs we gain a better understanding of your situation and the more information we know, the better we will be able to assist you. We provide consulting services on a wide range of topics and can also offer second opinions on your current system if you have used another computer company or a "Rent-A-Tech". Your first two hour consultation is complementary.

Computer and Network Setup

If you are new to the computer age or your office has grown, Woodard's Computing Services can set up your equipment or network to suit your individual needs. A network is composed of computers, printers, servers or other computer/office equipment so the users can all be connected in order to share data and resources. It is beneficial if you need to add more computers to your current system. We make sure that your computer system has all the necessary software and hardware components so you can start working smoothly.

Network Support

Sometimes when a computer system is not working properly it is because of the network. Since, a network is a behind the scenes technology that is not out where you can see it, it is hard to diagnose the problem yourself. Woodard's Computing Services can determine where the problem is and correct it and also make sure that your network configuration is best for your company.

Software and Hardware Support

We continue to work with many different clients and have gained experience in various programs that are used in businesses today. We also help with upgrades and patches. We have several sources for repair parts, if the computer that you are using is under warranty, and you are having issues with the "Rent-A-Techs" then we can come in and insure that the warranty part is replaced and we can help get you up and running in most cases much faster than the "Rent-A-Tech"s.

Remote Support

Remote support allows us to connect to your computer from our office. This gives us the ability to troubleshoot after hours to avoid interrupting your business during the day. In most cases we can have the problem fixed by morning. Nearly 65 percent of our business is completed using remote support. This technology continues to grow and we are always keeping up with new ways to be of convenience to your company.

Virus Cures, Spyware, and Email

Viruses and Spyware are the most common reasons why a computer system is not working properly. This type of issue can be spread through email and various websites on the internet. We support your efforts in making sure that you have the correct programs to keep your computer as safe as possible. We have several different programs that we promote and in most cases the programs are free.

Disaster Recovery

A total systems crash is a computer users worst nightmare but knowing what and when to backup your information can save you time and energy in the future. We provide several tips and recommendations to insure that your critical data is in a safe place. Should your system crash, we have technology that can restore some, if not all, of your lost data. We also provide annual and semi-annual audit inspections to see if your backup plan is still relevant to your needs.
